Why You May Need an Air Quality Mold Testing

September 3, 2019

Mold is a natural part of the environment and can be found everywhere, including indoors. Believe it or not, there is always mold around even though it might not be visible and can grow anywhere that there is moisture. So while it’s normal for there to be some mold within your home, there are a couple of reasons you might consider getting an air quality test to see just how much or if it is a safe type of mold!

Allergies or Asthma

If you have allergies or asthma, you are probably going to be more sensitive to the overall quality of the air in your home. Having your environment as clean as possible is going to help keep you and your family healthy all year long!

Water Loss

If you’ve recently had a pipe burst or other water damage in your home that required your home had to be dried out, you might want to have an air quality test to make sure that all the mold that should not be there has been removed.

With our mold testing, we come in and test exactly what type of mold is in the house and how much there is within the areas of your home. We also provide information on how to remove the mold to make sure you and your family are kept safe from any dangerous types of mold that could be growing. The testing is completed during the inspection and then they are overnighted to the lab. Don’t worry about waiting forever to get your results back, either! Results are ready within 24-48 hours after the lab receives them.
