You may think there's no reason to get a new home inspected but keep in mind that in many counties, the government inspectors are busy and do not have time to carefully look at all aspects of the new home. Even the best builders occasionally may make a mistake or miss something. The best time to catch a mistake is before you complete the purchase of the home, even if the builder is offering you a warranty.
Here are some recent photos of major flaws we found in brand new homes. These issues may not have become apparent to the Homebuyer until well after the Builder's warranty was over and would have cost the Homebuyer thousands to fix. Don't get stuck footing the bill for your Builder's mistakes.
